Cognizant of the immeasurable value of education as the best tool to improve quality of life, Dr. Teresita G. Domalanta, Director IV, seeks to get all operating units at the field levels to improve continuously in capturing the synergy of ideas and initiatives that look into the holistic satisfaction of its stakeholders in education.
The regional leadership believes that the development of its human resource base is the most potent force for greater productivity and performance; thus all programs and projects of the region are carefully defined and designed to ensure that learning takes place in every heart and mind of every child, who is the center of our reform efforts. School-Based Management is a centerpiece program region-wide and constant formal and informal consultations have come to elevate the relationship between school and community and rooted into what maybe called a true partnership.
As the Region builds upon the efforts and gains of the year past, and believing that literacy by 2010 will be measured not only by knowing how to read and write, but by the knowledge of computers, Dr. Domalanta harnessed all resources to provide and improve state-of-the-art technologies in the schools. Further, the leadership is moving towards institutionalization of the package of reforms within the BESRA framework to ensure highest degree of performance and satisfaction of its clientele and stakeholders. |
